Is This Man Taking Your Job?
A Lively Discourse on the Migrant Labor Debate

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2003

On Wednesday, December 3, Portland State University's Senior Capstone Program students, in collaboration with the Community Language and Culture Bank, will present a public forum on how the American media portray the economic impact of immigrant and migrant workers. "Is This Man Taking Your Job" will feature a panel consisting of journalists, an economist, and representatives from Latino/Hispanic working populations. In addition, recorded interviews with migrant laborers will be played. Light refreshments served. Please RSVP to media@interculturalorganizing.org.
