Listening Project – Listening Sessions for the Oregon Health Authority.

The Center for Intercultural Organizing is collecting stories as part of a “Listening Project” – designed to gather stories from immigrants and refugees about their experience and ideas about health care in Oregon. We are collecting the stories through a “Story Booth.” The booth is not actually a real booth – yet, but a private area where individuals or small groups can share personal stories in privacy. Beaverton Community-Based Research Study

CIO is undertaking a community-based research study identifying challenges and opportunities for Beaverton’s immigrant and refugee populations. Results of this survey will be shared with the Mayor, City Council, other elected officials, the media and community members. Immigrants and refugees are invited to fill out this survey to help move toward a richer understanding of issues confronting the community.
