CIO commends the June 16th event on racial justice issues that took place in the Oregon State Capitol building to showcase the lack of action on issues impacting communities of color, immigrants, and refugees, and to call for positive progress on these priorities in the future.

Listening Project – Listening Sessions for the Oregon Health Authority.

The Center for Intercultural Organizing is collecting stories as part of a “Listening Project” – designed to gather stories from immigrants and refugees about their experience and ideas about health care in Oregon. We are collecting the stories through a “Story Booth.” The booth is not actually a real booth – yet, but a private area where individuals or small groups can share personal stories in privacy. We’re planning to film additional stories in group listening circles. Find out how you can get involved.
